I had a blog in college - remember when Xanga was popular? Yeah, me neither. So I posted on that occasionally. Then sometime around 2008 I started another one on blogger and really got into it when I started watching The Bachelorette. That was also about the same time that I realized that people blogged for other people to read and then other people that they didn't know read it! ha. Up until this point I was just using it as a personal journal.
It's changed a lot because like I said at first I was blogging just for myself, then people I didn't know read it, then I got to know those people that read it, then I opened it up to anyone. Everything that I blogged from 2008-April 2012 is hidden on another blog. I just felt like I had posted way too much personal stuff at that time, so while I may want to look back on it one day, it's hidden for now. I don't want everyone up in my business.
2. Did you go to college? If so where, and what did you study?
I did! I went to OSU and majored in agricultural communication.
3. Where have you traveled?
I have never been outside of the United States, but I'd like for that to change. I've traveled to 22 different states in the US. I'd really like to go to the New England Coast and the Gulf Coast. I have trips to Chicago and Florida in the works for the next few months. I'd also like to go out west.
A school group is going to England in May and I'd really like to go there. And my brother and a family friend are going to Brazil in 2014 for the World Cup and I think that would be amazing as well.
4. If you won the lottery, what would be the first thing you would buy?
I would definitely pay off my car and student loans first for me, siblings and my parents. Then probably buy a house.
5. What are your 3 biggest pet peeves?
Only three??
1. When people cut you off in traffic because they didn't merge when the sign said "lane ending" 3 miles back.
2. People that don't flush the toilet or leave empty rolls of toilet paper on the holder.
3. People that tell me the same thing over and over and over as "reminders." I heard ya the first time!
(These are just three that are fresh on my mind!)
6. What is your favorite movie?
I've watched "The Vow" probably a dozen times since Lauren left it at my place in June. LOVE it.
7. What is your drink of choice; wine, beer, or liquor. Or Water, Soda, Tea?
Sweet tea. Then water (which I now drink with lemon). Amaretto Sours are a new favorite too.
8. What is something you enjoy to do when you have me time?
Since getting a bike in June, I love to ride it around town and along the bike paths in Columbus. It's just such a good way to see things, think and take time to myself.
9. If you could have a $10,000 shopping spree to one store, which store would it be?
Macy's in Chicago, because they have everything!!!
10. Share with us an embarrassing moment of your past? Or present.
I can get embarassed pretty easily. In high school on my first day of track practice I tripped over the hurdle and fell chin first in to our not-rubber-track and scraped up my chin, sholders, knees, hands, elbows, you name it. I looked up to see the entire boys track team - mostly all my senior crushes - standing over me asking if I was ok. Then I had to go to school for a week after that with a giant scab on my chin.
And looking back, I've done a lot of other things that at the time I thought were great ideas but now I'm embarrassed about them. (Nothing bad Mom!) They aren't things that embarrassed me (like falling or spitting milk out my nose) more like "OMG! I was THAT person! Ugh!"
11. What day would you love to relive again?
Are we meaning relive again because it was perfect the way it was or relive and do something differently? Because these would get two different answers.
12. If your life was turned into a movie... what actor would play you?
I would pick Reese Witherspoon! With dark hair of course.
13. What are the jobs you had in high school/college/the early years?
I babysat from junior high on. I worked with my dad the summer after I graduated in a construction office. In college I didn't work during the school year, but during the summers I had internships where I picked berries, did PR for aquaculture and organized programs and camps in our extension office. After I graduated I was a substitute teacher for a year, then began my 'big girl' job in public affairs.
14. Show us a picture from high school or college.

| Our senior year of college. We had a party in the dorms for one of our student organizations. I was in a polo shirt phase at this time. |
15. If you could travel anywhere in the world, all expenses paid, where would you go?
I would probably do a trip around the world and see all of the famous sites and even some not so famous ones. If it was all expenses paid, who would just go one place then home?
16. Show us the most current picture of you or you and your family.

17. Where do you see your life 5 years from now?
I'll be 32! I'm going to hope that I will be married and maybe have a baby? That seems so far away, yet so close!
