About Me

I grew up in a small town in Southern Ohio and moved to Columbus in 2003 for college. Even though I miss my family, friends and the slower paced life of my little village sometimes, I love the friends, always-have-something-to-do and amazing life I have here in the city.

I secretly started blogging during my unemployment phase between college and when I started my first job (2008) as a journal. It documented my boring day to day life, birth of nieces, relationship ups and downs, recipes, decorating ideas, imaginary wedding planning, break ups, vacations, multiple moves, celebrity happenings, etc.

I didn't know anyone that read my blog, but once I started linking up with Kelly's Korner "Show Us Your Life" activities on Friday's, I started 'meeting people'. Since then, I've met the most wonderful ladies that are now my best friends in real life.

After taking a 40 day break from blogging (and facebook and twitter) for Lent in 2012, I started this new blog to share with friends and family, even though I know some of them read the old one. :) This is just a place where I record things going on in my life for me, but I'm glad to share it with others as well! :) Welcome.
