Happy Birthday Best Friend.

Happy Birthday to my best friend! :)

Erin and I have been best friends for about 14 years now. It is hard to believe that it's been that long. We have known each other for about 20 years, well, technically probably longer than that.

But we became best friends during the summer of 1997 when we got the bright idea to run cross country. She stuck with it throughout high school (I did not, but here 15 years later I am running 5K's and training for half-marathons so it must have been a blessing in disguise that I tried it out back then!)

Then a few years later, we were wiser, older, obviously much cooler and stylish. Ha! Or not - I have my hair half up with a coordinating scrunchie! And we're showing chickens at our county fair!

Then we both got braces and a little more style. We obviously had the brains because this was at the honors banquet.

By the time we reached high school we were pretty cool! ha. Selling pie at the Dogwood Festival.
